The road from Charters Towers to Townsville has opened this morning, following the heavy rainfall and flooding that has impacted the North Queensland region. We will be experiencing significant delays with all freight deliveries intended for the Townsville areas.

The Bruce highway is expected to open later today. Please allow additional transit time for freight traveling to Cairns due to inland diversions, as a result of the bridge being washed away in the floods.

Hazard reduction burns are currently in Glass House Mountains, Beerburrum, Mount Glorious and Mount Mee which may impact deliveries.

Due to severe weather conditions around the Mackay Region, deliveries are being impacted.

Full shipping capacity has now been restored between Melbourne and Tasmania, but there remains a large backlog to clear. Although we've been able to engage additional shipping capacity to move the backlog, our agent in Tasmania will still need to work through the large quantity of deliveries that need to be completed. We're still estimating that it could take most of February to fully catch-up from last months shipping disruptions.
